With-you focuses on providing authentic, co-designed training and consultancy around peer-based approaches, based on our mix of lived and learned experiences and knowledge.
Peer-based approaches are founded on lived experience and involve mutual and reciprocal relationships that foster hope, choice, and empowerment. Peer support worker is one title among many peer-based roles.
Lived experience is the knowledge, skills, and expertise we develop from our lives rather than from reading about it, such as our lived experience of distress or of using mental health services.

Mental Health Awareness Weeks for me is an accumulation of everything I believe in, they’re about challenging stigma and discrimination as well as raising awareness of the many barriers that people face in our society when they’re viewed as “different”.
